Hardware Kits

Wild Hare supplies hardware kits for 50cc and larger planes. They can be sold with the planes or supplied separately, and any of the components are available individually. These kits are made of primarily USA manufactured items from Dubro, Sullivan, Great Planes and other reputable manufacturers.

Control Horns	Our control horn kits consist of the horns which are custom made for Wild Hare, plus 8-32 steel crews which act as studs, and Dubro heavy duty ball links plus assembly hardware.
Pushrods	Our pushrod kits consist of 4-40 all-thread plus 3/16" fiberglass tube plus 4-40 lock nuts. The steel rods are cut to length then a section of fiberglass tube is placed over the rod and nuts secure the tube from both ends. This makes an incredubly strong pushrod, we use the same pushrod on all our larger planes including our 41% Extra. The photo shows a completed pushrod/control horn assembly.
Pull-pull kit	Our pull-pull kits are assembled from stainless-steel .028" cable plus 4-40 eye bolts and soft cable crimp sleeves. The eye bolts are less prone to cable abrasion than other rigging couplers. We also include two heavy duty Dubro ball links for attacment to the rudder servo arm.
Hardware package	The remaining parts of the hardware kit include Dubro or Sullivan wheels, Dubro axles and wheel collars, a custom made fuel dot (which people really love), Tygon tubing, a fuel TEE, your choice of Dubro or Great planes gas tanks, plus a selection of hardware and accessories that help with the setup of your airplane.
